Who Am I?

Hi! I am Aniko J Trouvère.

I am a 23 year old trans woman, born and raised in New England. As for a description of myself, I am many things, I’m a traveler, a punk, an anarchist, a christian, a musician, and a storyteller. My musical influences for those interested are a lot of classic country and rockabilly (Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee, Willie Nelson), some classic rock (The Eagles namely), a few midwest and 5th wave emo artists (Miracle of 86, Glass Beach), and a lot of folk punk (Pigeon Pit, Apes of the State, Local News Legend).

Why am I here?

I have always been enraptured by the power of the stories, both fact and fiction that we tell to each other. I believe it is these stories that bring us together and prove we are not alone in this world.

I would like someday to be considered a bard or troubadour in the classic sense, someone who passes on knowledge and morals, through the stories they tell and the songs they sing. Above all, I want to make people feel less alone, and I aim to do that through my music and my writing. Both of which I plan to share here.
